Cirrus HD-OCT with OCT angiography and Anterior segment imaging

OCT scans the retina and measures retinal thickness. This instrument helps to diagnose and monitor conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Our advanced HD-OCT is also equipped with OCT angiography, which enables the visualization of retinal vessels in non-invasive ways. This is especially helpful in treatment of retinal vein occlusions and diabetic retinopathy. This machine can also take the images of the anterior segment to help identify angle closure glaucoma and corneal edema.

Ultra-widefield Fundus Camera

Fundus camera takes picture of the back of the eyes. It helps to identify and document diagnosis such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. With this ultra-widefield camera, we can assess retina in far periphery which is especially helpful in diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy and vein occlusions.

Humphrey Visual Field

Visual field machine measures peripheral vision. This test helps to monitor glaucoma and optic nerve disorders.

Autorefractor, Keratometer

The autorefractor quickly measures your refraction (near sightedness, far sightedness, and astigmatism). The keratometer measures corneal curvature (astigmatism).

Tear Osmolarity Test

Measures the tear film osmolarity, which has been shown to correlate with dry eye disease.

IOL master

This instrument takes several measurements of the eye and calculates the proper lens implant power in preparation for cataract surgery.

Immersion A-scan, Pachymeter & B-scan

Immersion A-scan is an ultrasound machine that measures the eye prior to cataract surgery. Pachymeter measures corneal thickness and is useful in diagnosing glaucoma and corneal swelling.
B-scan ultrasonography is a diagnostic test used to visualize structures inside the eye. It is a helpful tool to diagnose retinal detachment, vitreous bleeding, tumors, inflammatory diseases, or foreign body inside the eye.

Corneal Topography

Corneal Topography is a computer assisted diagnostic tool to measure the surface curvature of the cornea. It gives helpful information prior to cataract surgery as well as diagnosing keratoconus, astigmatism, and other corneal pathologies.

Argon Laser

This laser is used to treat diabetic retinopathy and retinal tears.

YAG-SLT

This laser is used to treat glaucoma and secondary cataract in the clinic.
